The Black Breath tour dates
are up! They're teaming up with Trap Them and hitting the east coast, midwest,
with a quick dip into the dirty south. Don't miss it. Also not to miss: Legitimate
Bros West Coast Tour 2009! ON, Get
The Most, Keep It Clear, Circles,
and Gone But Not Forgotten for most dates. Kicks off next week in Seattle and
continues in California. The Keep It Clear 7" is out. You can order it
direct from the band on their Myspace
page. Shook Ones announced on Myspace
that they'll have CDs of their new LP for the Europe tour. Get amped. Nasty
announced that Kreator rules.

Tonic, muddled limes, and a splash of Angostura Aromatic Bitters, over
ice. Shook Ones are headed to Southampton
and the rest of Europe in just a couple weeks, in support of their soon-to-be-released
LP, "The Unquotable A.M.H." I know, I know. Paper & Plastick records
will announce a release date soon. Check out a track from the album on their
Myspace page.
A new LP from Get The Most will drop
on React! Records sometime this year. Studio updates and other details coming
soon. Blizzard beasts, Black Breath,
are making their first US East Coast appearance this May and June. Dates for
this won't be released until Neil finishes the promotional tour for his latest
collection of sci-fi/erotica short stories. Catch him on Late Night With Jimmy
Fallon on Thursday!

As you can see to the right, Shook
Ones are hitting the road hard this spring. First the U.S. West Coast with
Have Heart, Comadre and Rotting Out, then Europe with Red Tape Parade. The rest
of the Legitimate Bros will be visiting the Golden State at the end of April.
From the mind of Mark Palm comes the newest Legitimate Bros band, Devotion.
The debut LP, Bastard Son Of Affluence Blues, is currently at the mastering
plant and will see the light of day sometime this this year. Until then you
can peep their
blog for updates. Listen to The
Crown.

Of The Land, right here at Legitimate Bros. Shook
Ones have a new merch store located at shookones.bigcartel.com.
They have really cool shirts with like sharks on them and stuff. Also, this
just in: Pennywise rules.

Happy New Year, headbangers! Strap on that bullet belt and check this
out: ON has sent off the master of their new 7
inch to the pressing plant. Look for the record to be released in March 2009.
Two songs can be heard at their myspace page (myspace.com/onhc)

After many consecutive 16-hour days spent at Two Sticks Audio in Seattle,
Shook Ones are finishing up a new LP for
Paper + Plastick Records, based out of Gainesville, FL. After being mixed by
Matt Alison at Atlas Studio in Chicago, it will be released some time in 2009.
Sorry for all the droppings of names and places (or 'nouns' to those more educated
than their drummer). Speaking of Shook battery, here is what Jimmy had to say
about it:
"It's Sunday. I (jimmy) flew back home to Philadelphia on Thursday after
finishing up tracking the drums. Bo did his bass tracks on Thursday and Friday.
One song was so raging, the bass amp literally caught on fire. So all this left
Scott with a lot of time on his hands. Scott used this time to work on his stand
up comedy routine and also discover a new found interest in Badgers. So we're
about half way through tracking all the songs for the new record. I'm really
happy with how things are going. I'm even more excited to play the new songs
live. Check back for more videos of us in the studio."
Check out their stupid blog for more info: http://everythingshooks.blogspot.com.
Seattle bantamweights ON have been recording a
new 7" to be released in the spring of 2009. Clocking in a just over one
song released per three months, their unfeverish work ethic has left them lean
and toned. I'd say the combined heft of the band is nearly equivalent to the
rotund riffage laid on the new Devotion record. Did we forget to mention that
there is a new band popping onto the Legitimatebros roster? Not really, we were
just keeping it as mysterious as the singer's reclusive vibe. Devotion. More
info on this band, along with yet ANOTHER LegBros addition coming soon..
